Following the namesake of its predecessor, the new P/V Golden Gate will provide high speed service for the San Francisco Bar Pilots Association.
Servicing the San Francisco Bay, and taking Pilots to the Off-shore station boat.
This new state of the art vessel is equipped with the latest in low emissions technology from MAN engines and Hamilton water jets. This is the first first in a new generation of pilot vessels that will meet CARB tier 4 emission requirements. All while being more fuel efficient. And, It’s also really fast! Like, over 30 knots fast!

She's our 15m Interceptor 48 pilot and is the 48th pilot boat we’ve supplied to ports globally. New guidance for PBAs with trapdoors. Released 4.11.2020 at NZMPA Conference in Dunedin, NZ. Distinct difference to suggestions in many other countries, is that we challenge operators who have the ladder suspended from the accommodation ladder (gangway) and not secured to the ship. SOLAS states that pilot ladder shall be secured to the ship, and securing strongpoints, shackles and ropes shall be as strong as the sideropes.
