The Chinese container freighter "CSCL Star" belongs to the class of Ultra Large Container Ships (ULCS) and is one of the largest ships that can enter the port of Hamburg.

I took this time lapse photograph on March 15, 2021. Three days later, the CSCL Star accidentally collided with the German cruise ship "Hanseatic Inspiration" while leaving the port. Girding occurs when a vessel is pulled broadside by a towline force and is unable to manoeuver out of this position.
