AIMPA in association with IMU has organized a Research Paper Competition (SAMIPTA) for cadets of MTI from all disciplines on Pilot ladder risk mitigation and suggest innovative measures to Mitigate risks. It could include the new product design, improvising design, use of existing one with innovative securing, fail-proof solutions, taking into account dynamics of persons /pilots boarding the vessels using Pilot ladders. It is worth to highlight that it would be for the first time the competition is being held for a research paper across MTIs, on safety of Pilot transfer arrangement, which will definitely flare the young minds.
