In a press release, the Panama Canal Authority (ACP) informed that it was the container ship CAPE KORTIA, in maneuvers towards the port of PSA. The fire occurred in the ship's engine room.

"The purpose of this video is to demonstrate communication between the Remote Pilot and the vessel’s Captain. The simulations are experiments."

The American Maritime Pilot has a special and important job bringing ships into port safely. In the history of pilots Robert Smalls stands out as one of the most heroic and able pilots in American History.
