Med Marine and Misurata Free Zone signed a two-vessel contract for MED-P16 series in March 2022 for Misurata Free Zone’s operations in Misurata, Libya. After 8 months of construction period of the vessels, Misurata Free Zone takes the delivery of the two high- quality pilot boats. Both units have been dispatched on a specialized transport vessel to Libya from Turkey.

Singapore will have a dedicated 5G network covering its port waters by mid-2025. The network will be provided by local telco M1. It will allow the country to testbed maritime use cases that will make sea operations smoother and safer. Here’s a cool little video we made during the sea trials of ‘Belgrano’ a new Interceptor 48 pilot for Montevideo, Uruguay. We captured some really nice drone footage of her offshore in some breaking seas and alongside ship manoeuvres, testing out her pilot boarding ladder and new fender system.
